These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of getsmartseo.com and the Smart SEO WordPress plugin, operated by Rise Plugins ("we", "us", "our"). By using our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Account

You must create an account to purchase a subscription. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. You must provide accurate information when creating your account.

2. Subscriptions and Billing

Smart SEO is offered as a subscription service with monthly and annual billing options. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

  • Free tier: One blurred strategy report per domain, no payment required
  • Starter: $39/month or $384/year - 1 production site, 1 strategy per month, 4 blog posts per month
  • Growth: $59/month or $588/year - 3 production sites, strategy refresh, 12 blog posts per month, priority generation

Prices may change with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.

3. License Keys

Your subscription includes a license key for the Smart SEO WordPress plugin. License keys are tied to your account and may only be used on the number of production sites allowed by your plan.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your dashboard or Stripe billing portal. Upon cancellation:

  • Your license key will be deactivated
  • Existing strategy data remains in your WordPress database
  • Your account remains active so you can resubscribe later

We offer refunds on a case-by-case basis within 14 days of purchase. Contact us at info@riseplugins.com to request a refund.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Share, resell, or distribute your license key
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the plugin
  • Use the service to generate spam or misleading content
  • Attempt to circumvent usage limits or abuse the free tier
  • Use automated tools to access the service beyond normal plugin operation

6. Intellectual Property

The Smart SEO plugin, website, and all related materials are owned by Rise Plugins. Your subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the plugin according to your plan's terms.

SEO strategies and blog post content generated by the service are yours to use freely on your website.

7. Service Availability

We strive to keep Smart SEO available and reliable, but we do not guarantee 100% uptime. We may perform maintenance, updates, or changes that temporarily affect availability. We are not liable for any losses due to service interruptions.

8. Limitation of Liability

Smart SEO provides SEO recommendations and content suggestions powered by AI. Results may vary. We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings or traffic outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Rise Plugins is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of King County, Washington.
